Working With Your Email Accounts In Outlook Express

  • Open Outlook Express.
    • You do not have to be on-line to perform the configuration.
  • Click "Tools" on the Outlook Express menu bar.
  • Then click "Accounts" on the menu that is displayed after clicking "Tools".
    • The Internet Accounts dialog box will be displayed.
  • Click the "Mail" tab in the Internet Accounts dialog box.
    • All the Email accounts you have created, if any, will be displayed.
    • If the Internet Accounts dialog box is empty, then you have not yet created any Outlook Express Email accounts.
  • If there are existing accounts, then click here for "Configuring An Existing Account".
  • Otherwise, you must create an account before it can be configured.  Click here for "Creating A New Account".
